Young County Maps
Our work-in-progress (see embed below) is a GoogleEarth tour map of historic sites in Young County, Texas. Please bear in mind that some of these sites will be on private property (as noted in the map item description). We ask that visitors who use our map for touring be respectful of that. Visit the map often as we are always adding new sites.

Texas General Land Office Maps
The Map Store at GLO has more than 120 historic maps of Young County. The oldest dated map is from 1850. Possible older maps include ones marked the “Fannin and Milam District” map and surveys of the Peters Colony. Some of the maps are available to purchase. Most may be explored in detail with the ZOOM button available. Additionally, smaller maps are available to download in PDF format.
